When we purchased this property, it was in a very poor condition having not been lived in for many years. The gardens were so overgrown that the house could hardly be seen the right elevation hedgerow was completely the side of the house up to the roof.
Work started clearing up the garden and overgrown hedges and to our amazement we discovered the most wonderful uninterrupted view across the weald of Kent.
We added a large extension to the rear forming an open plan kitchen/dining room which looked over the paddock to the far-reaching view.
The full refurbishment was completed to a very high standard with a country cottage kitchen, new windows heating system, complete plastering, oak and York stone floors and our statement inglenook fireplace with bread oven were all installed.
The external elevations were completed cleaned using our specialist steam cleaning which brough the brickwork and roof/hanging tils back to life.
A new fixed shingle drive was laid with chestnut post and rail country fencing to the boundaries. This beautiful cottage was complete and fully restored to the highest standard.
