Founded by Charles II in 1682 and designed by Wren, the Royal Hospital Chelsea maintains its original function - a home for veterans. Its modern residents are the immediately recognisable Chelsea Pensioners.

Re-Point the stone boundary wall and create new paving for wheel chair access
All defective stone pointing to the Portland coping stones was removed prior to re-with our own Portland Stone masons’ putty.
The new ramped paving (to provide wheel chair access across the site) was formed and laid using York Stone.
A reminder that stonework is not just vertical surfaces, but horizontal ones as well. Much of what we walk on is stone, brick and concrete.
