To clean, survey and restore the ornate Portland stone carved crest on the front façade.
The Georgian crest was carefully cleaned using a combination of the DOFF and Jos/Torc systems to remove surface staining and carbon deposits.
Next, we undertook a photographic survey of the crest and scheduled the necessary repairs.
The restoration works included specialist mortar repairs to ornate areas and repointing the stone where previous interventions had introduced unsympathetic materials.
