Hyde Park Barracks
Designed by Sir Basil Spence and completed in 1970, the Hyde Park Barracks were built to accommodate the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment: 23 officers, 60 warrant officers and non-commissioned officers, 431 rank and file and 273 horses. The site is now under redevelopment.

To carry out the cleaning, we used a wet blasting method from a distance to avoid any damage to the detailing.
Nebular water spays were then set up to remove further stubborn areas of staining.
We manufactured a new unicorn twisted horn using Portland stone which was hand carved to match the original detail.
Minor repairs were completed to the coat of arms using our stone repair mortar.
