The Warwick School
This non-denominational mixed secondary school takes it name from Warwick Town, the first stage of Redhill’s development following the arrival of the railway in the 1850s. It was the first school in South East Surrey to gain Specialist Technology College status.

To construct a new wall in the playground.
First, the defective brick pointing to the extensive retaining wall in the main playground had to be made good. This work revealed that the wall was in exceptionally poor condition and required more permanent work.
The council’s engineer assessed the structural integrity of the wall and recommended it be demolished and rebuilt using new bricks. The finished wall was over 4 meters high and 90+ meters long.
The new brick work was built to the same line and detail with movement joints inserted at regular intervals. New concrete coping stones were supplied and fixed to the top of the new wall.
